Every year my wife and I watch the Twilight Zone marathon. I bought my wife the DVD set of every episode, but she prefers to watch the shows shown on TV. I shake my head because we can do our own marathon with no commercials.

There are so many shows now I would like to watch again like Little Rascals, Leave it to Beaver, Happy Days, Lone Ranger, and so many more.

All of those and more. In fact, these comprise probably half of my viewing.

I am thinking he means pre-teen years. I watched The Little Rascals every morning before going to school as a kid and also watched Leave it to Beaver among many.

For sure. They had a really good run of characters and story lines.

Quite a few, actually—sitcoms, dramas, action, cheesy variety shows, sci-fi, game shows, Saturday morning cartoons, you name it.

Right now I'm having a blast with free Tubi stuff. I'm re-watching ABC's Family that ran from 1976-1980. Kristy McNichol was my first celebrity crush. My bedtime was ten, which was when Family came on. I would sneak into the living room after my parents went to sleep and watch the show with the lights out and the volume turned low. That's a really solidly-acted drama.

I told Kristy that story at a Hollywood Autograph Show a few years ago, and she gave me a free signed photo. She's awesome.

I loved “All in the Family”! Meathead! LOL!

Heck I was just talking to a co-worker the other day about cartoons as a kid. I loved Speedy Gonzales, Road Runner, and all the others at that time that were then said to be violent. I don’t watch Saturday morning cartoons anymore, but I bet they are way worse. I liked Speedy Gonzales, but I guarantee it would be considered racist today. I am married to a 1st generation Mexican-American but I am sure that doesn’t matter. I am racist for watching it!

Good hearted shows with good lessons now considered bad. Sad.
