Country boy just turned 21 and bought himself a Glock 19 from me. Said he shot rifles before but not hand guns. Invited him to shoot at the club I belong to as I didn't feel it was proper to sell someone a handgun for self defense and them not be able to use it properly. Started him out with a .22lr MkII Ruger and he kept them in the black @ 15'. Had him shoot the G19 and he kept most in the black on a 8" bull and all on the paper. Aside from correcting his grip and stance a few times the kid was a decent shot. Was happy to see he didn't anticipate recoil. Although he was not a little guy. ------------------------------------- Always the pall bearer, never the corpse.

Good for you and thanks for adding another to the handgun sport. If you're goin' through hell, keep on going. Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there. NRA ENDOWMENT LIFE MEMBER

Good job! Beyond the sale, insure they can use it properly. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

Nicely done, sir! I love the MkII as an introductory piece to work up to centerfire...it's a semi-auto .22 that's reliable enough that they can use it to practice the fundamentals without having to fight malfunctions. I use mine for that purpose quite a bit. It's also a good excuse for me to put some rounds through it at the same time !
