What is the difference between the 10 speed torque transmission and 10 spd Torque G transmission.

The gas 7.3 motor only is available in the no G configuration. Thinking it has something to do with the electronic locker vs limited slip but really don't know. Thanks guys.

They are two different but similar transmissions with some internal differences. But you don't get to pick, Ford does it for you so its not really something that matters to you. Pick the motor, ford picks the tranny. The locker and limited slip are rear axle issues and unrelated to this. People argue about the actual differences but ford seems to be making running changes on this all the time so who knows.

The F350 gets the non-G transmission with the 7.3.

The G is the 10R100 and the non-G is the 10R140.

I believe the only way to currently get the 10R140 in an F250 with a gas motor is to get the Tremor package.
