How many robocalls do you get every day?

lbjHow many robocalls do you get every day?
Ugh, my landline is nothing but robocalls this last year.
I read an article the other day that the average household get 16 calls per month. That seems super low compared to how many we are getting.
For the last 6 months, we are averaging 16 calls per day. For a month that means 480 calls.
It's enough to about make me want to go off the grid for a while.
How many are you all getting per day?

AeteoclesFew to none.
1. No landlines.
2. Google / Android blocks calls suspected of being spam coming to my cellphome.
3. Google / Android will screen calls for me coming from any unknown number. Say your name, state your business, Google sends me a notification while you are put on hold.

lbjYeah, I may need to ditch my landline.
But I think the marketers will just start calling my super basic cell flip phone, of which I get maybe 3 spam calls a month right now.
I had an android smart phone for a while but I got rid of it because it didn't make me smart.

HRKWhen we had the land line it was nothing but telemarketers and spam calls since we all use our cell numbers now.
iPhones have the ability to block unknown callers, if they are not in your contacts, you get a notice that the calls coming in but it goes right to voicemail. You can turn it off if you are expecting calls from someone not in your contacts.
Once the last big spam marketer was shut down by the feds my fake calls have stopped, it was 4 to 5 calls a day wanting to sell me some health insurance plan, spoofed numbers etc.
I get a few now and then on my business line.

flashguyI get maybe a dozen landline calls a day from "Not Available", "Unknown", or "Potential Spam", and just from cities In Texas or elsewhere that I don't know anyone in. I don't answer them. If the caller is not willing to be identified, I don't need to talk to them.
My flip phone was bought for me by a friend in the 903 Area Code and calls from him are the only ones I will answer from that Area on that phone. I get about half a dozen calls from other 903 numbers daily and although I must access them to see the number, I don't talk to the caller.
There probably are ways to stile those spam calls, but I don't want to pay for them or bother with them.

DentedIt's seems to come and go for me. I'll get a week or 2 of non stop calls, block everything, and then a few weeks of peace and quiet.

RogueJSKMost days none. Some days 1-2 (couple times per month). Very occasionally 4-6 (couple times per year or so).
They seem to come in waves.

kz1000Rarely. Only answering calls from my contacts list helps.

I have my iPhone configured that way. I think that most of the spammers can detect that very fast route-to-voicemail and give up the call attempt rather than leaving a voicemail.

gearhoundsAnother one that gave up the landline and stopped getting them. I almost never get them on my iPhone but the occasional call almost always shows the caller ID as “spam risk”.

Sometimes I will get 5 in a week then when I don’t play along it goes back to zero.

sleepla8er.
I don't know because if the Caller ID is not someone already in my Address Book, I let the call go to voicemail.
Right now, the only the only voicemail I get is a male voice from the "Underwriting Department" asking me if I want to move forward on my personal loan. It's a recording and I get one about every other day. Their Caller ID constantly changes, so it is impossible to block.

TomVHave Ooma VOIP for our Landline. Rarely have a unwanted call get through.
Visible for my mobile and again rarely have anything get through.

SigSACI get quite a few on the landline - that is why I keep it. That is the number I give to companies. If I'm having something serviced, like my car, I'll give them my mobile number as I'm going out the door - they write it on the order while keeping my landline number on the order.
I get very few spam calls on my mobile.

DaveLBetween my work landline and my cell, 2-8 per day on average. I ignore the calls on my cell but unfortunately I can't do that at work. It's really frustrating.

lbjBites the big moose early and often to be the current sigform champion of the robocall.
I would be happy to relinquish the title though.

amalsUsually two or three a day, I guess. Sometimes none, sometimes it spikes to six or eight or more. I rarely answer my landline unless I am expecting a call on it. The odds that the call will be one that I want to take are slim; more people use my cell number. One thing for sure: I hate them. I think they should be outlawed.
