Beautiful PacNorthwest day today. Did some minor pressure washing, followed by an oil change on the pressure washer pump. Since it was nice out, decided to grill up some burgers. ½ lb. ground sirloin patty, 2 slices Monterey Jack cheese, 2 slices "European" style bacon, generous slice of tomato, 2 slices of dill pickle. All on a Haggen(local grocery store) sandwich roll. Yes, it was unprotected, but not for long....... Wink

And yes, I'm full.......

Looks delicious, but my jaw doesn't open wide enough for 4" tall burgers/sandwiches.

It's a smoked bacon that has the cut from the loin to the belly. Here's what it looks like:

Makes for excellent burger bacon. Smile

Hempler's makes it.
Our local grocery carries it in bulk, but can also be purchased vacuum packed, such as offered by HEB

Are you my long lost brother?! I did the EXACT same thing today. Pressure washed my boat and then changed the pump fluid out. Weird.

That looks awesome! I'll have to pick up some of those sandwich rolls next time I'm at Haggen.

Try a fried egg on top of that burger and it would be absolute heaven.

Use a glazed donut instead of a bun and you'd have yourself a work of art right there.

You lose a point or two for not having a slab of onion on there, but it still looks awesome.
