I’m glad the dog was found, but irresponsible dog owners with uncontrolled, uncontrollable dogs lead to this sort of thing—except that not all are found. In this instance it was just in time as well. There’s fresh snow on the 14K peaks this morning and that means that soon there won’t be many more hikers up there.

And, oh: Colorado has many more than 14 peaks over 14,000 feet above sea level.
