The Supreme Court has UPHELD a Biden admin rule requiring serial numbers and background checks for 'ghost guns.'

The decision was 7-2, with Justices Thomas and Alito dissenting.

I can't wait to read the contortionist logic that is used to justify this decision by the 'majority'! Roll Eyes

As soon as I saw 7-2, I knew Alito and Thomas were the dissenters. True patriots.

Roberts, Kavanaugh and Barrett are all David Souter clones.

A “conservative” judge nearly always starts leaning to the left, but no “liberal” judge ever starts leaning to the right. Thank God Thomas and Alito have been solid supporters of the second amendment.

Very disappointing, and as the dissenting opinions claim, the lengths that this will be used in the future to infringe on gun rights is disconcerting.

Time for ATF to rescind the rule. While ATF still exists.

I am not a fan of this court. Yes, I know it could be worse. But it is bad enough.

So if a kit that is 80% done and only takes the builder an hour to complete the weapon is now gonna be required to be serialized or it’ll come serialized-even though it’s completely legal to build a firearm yourself-as long as you don’t sell it. Is that what this case is about?

It is bad. This ruling is garbage. I'm not sure I have the confidence that sending any more 2A cases to these clowns is all that great an idea.

Hokay, so I just woke up so I'm not all there yet, but doesn't this just mean one cannot sell 80% as a kit? You would have to buy the jig separate, I read that somewhere.
