What happens is the IQ of the democratic party sinks even lower as they gain more AOC types in key positions.

I came to an understanding of how the Dems in Congress "work" after listening to IG Barr explain how government is supposed to work, and how it can be made ineffective by an opposing party. He explained that the Dems in Congress have held up hundreds of issues that need to be acted upon, but they intend to make the current administration ineffective by putting a halt to whatever progress that could be made. Il Cattivo is right in that, by insuring that state elections seat a majority of Dems in power, they can continue to make a Republican administration ineffective. Barr explained that during previous administrations, the number of halted/delayed issues before Congress were less than ten. With the present Congress we have hundreds. Does this tell you anything? It tells me that the Dems are more interested in control and power than they are in serving the oath and the people that they pledged to protect. Furthermore, I have heard that "Nice Nancy" hasn't done anything. I beg to differ. She is evidently in charge of keeping her party active by keeping the other party spinning their wheels. That has to be a full time job in itself. ... edited to add... Another tactic the Dems have used that I don't like. They time time their obligation to submit how much and who contributed to their candidates until after they are elected. That way you cannot have any understanding of "what" you have elected until it is too late. In the past I have voted for whom ever I thought was on the ball and would do the best job for the people. NO MORE! I am inclined to vote a straight ticket any more. And I imagine there is a percentage of voters that have come to the same conclusion that I have. That being that the seemingly best candidate can be beaten down by their own party. Which, in turn, makes the "people" ineffective.
