I agree, it sounds like your SIM card went bad and not the phone. Take it to an AT+T store. I would never touch an Android phone again. I tried to go back and hated it. I'd recommend either the iPhone XR, or if you need IP68 waterproof the iPhone XS.

Glad someone else here likes OnePlus too. I'm still running my OnePlus 3, and its still serving me very well. Love the phone. As to buying a OnePlus 6T, they are now available in all T-Mobile stores though I think those phones are specifically optimized for the T-Mobile network. Just stop it will ya. Cellphones are like underwear in that everyone likes a difference 'feel & fit'. Both platforms are terrific, and appeal to different users. I have no issue with either but opt for Android because I prefer the 'tune ability' of the platform. Several of my friends prefer IOS because of its incredibly tight integration. There is no right or wrong answer. It's purely a personal choice. ----------------------------- Guns are awesome because they shoot solid lead freedom. Every man should have several guns. I've detailed all of this several times, here. It started when I had a Samsung tablet and found using cut/copy and paste would crash it. Long story short: Samsung decided to "improve" the Android copy-n-paste by replacing Android's clipboard with their own software. It wasn't bad enough Samsung's code crashed the OS, but it turned out it introduced a security vulnerability: It made it impossible for keyring applications to clear the paste buffer, because the API was private. When I started researching that, I started to run across all kinds of other complaints about Samsung's "improvements" to Android introducing problems--including security vulnerabilities. In addition: Because Samsung so-heavily-modified Android it would be ages before Android updates with security fixes would get pushed out. Sometimes never. (Samsung is not alone in this, which is one reason my wife and I no longer use Android mobile devices at all.) Btw: The copy-n-paste bug was never fixed, through two following updates to that tablet, despite the fact Samsung was aware of it and it had received wide press coverage. I finally had had enough and replaced Samsung's buggy Android install with CyanogenMod. (And, boy, was that ever an improvement over Samsung's crapware!) My next exposure to Samsung's cavalier treatment of its customers was when I decided to give them another chance and bought one of their Blu-ray players. I'd read complaints about their privacy policies, so, as I launched this thing I made sure to read everything, in detail. Got all the way through it all. "Hmmm... Don't see anything particularly egregious here." Then I went to enable streaming services and there it was: To enable them I essentially had to give Samsung the right to record and log everything I did with that BD player, including the discs I bought and played on it, and they could do whatever they wanted with the collected data. It went back to store. I had to dig for the disclosure, btw. They did not make it easy. At that point I swore off Samsung "smart" devices. A while after that was the infamous "Samsung is watching you, listening to you" scandal. I just laughed. There've been other incidents. To be fair: Since then Samsung been joined by its competitors in the customer privacy abuse (IMO) department. I would never give any "smart" TV access to the 'net. "America is at that awkward stage. For real? |
My youngest son is still using my OnePlus One on TMO. I’m using an iPhone XS Max on TMO and the OnePlus 5 on ATT. I might give my son the 5 when OnePlus releases the 7. Get your SIM checked first. I’ve had to replace three since I started using cell phones. Not minority enough!

Is Beautiful Girl's phone working normally (assuming that you're on the same plan)? Reason I ask: I had a scenario where the Verizon tower closest to my home took a mort. Neither my true love, nor I, had cell service at home or anywhere in the neighborhood. Drive a mile or two in any direction, into the service area of a different tower, and everything worked perfectly. I solved our problem by switching to a different provider. I kept the same phone, which works just fine (iPhone 6 Plus). So, what I'm asking, is there any possibility that there is nothing wrong with your phone, but the tower that serves you is not doing its job? הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

He stated, in the original post, that he just wants a phone that works (business use) and neither wants nor needs the "latest and greatest." הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים
