RightwireI don't think airport body scanners use X-rays. Those would be useless unless you ride the belt into the X-ray luggage scanned or check yourself as baggage.

Yep, even with pre-check and going through metal detectors instead of body scanners they will not see it.
Now if you laid it flat in your luggage or carry-on.

SIGnifiedTSA uses much lower energy, lower freq rays than X rays in the big people scanners, IIRC.

LBTRSJust want you need to do...give the TSA more reason to screw with you. While I agree with the message I certainly wouldn't wear it while traveling.
