At first I was breathing for him, then after a while I realized he didn't need it. Big Grin

He used to be a sports figure for Ball Watch USA, I've met him at events. Very nice guy with a funny sense of humor.

I think it's a two piece wet suit. Pants and then a top which secures around the crotch...but I could be wrong.

That was really weird, but the 5:50 to 6:15 mark is otherworldly. Very nice camera trick(and Nery trick).

This extreme (time and depth) freediving is one heck of a dangerous sport, but as someone who scubas, snorkels and free dives for shorter, much shallower periods, I admire the freedom of it. If I were younger, I might prefer it, at least in terms of length of time. But truly dangerous.

Looks like at those points the camera is flipped 180 degrees. That's the ceiling and what looks like waves is air trapped in the ceiling.

I recognize the cave shots from some cenotes in Mexico. Those are not the above shots but the ones with him playing on the dead trees underwater and the sulfur type cloud. One shot looks like "The Pit" but there is another cenote it could be. The Pit is somewhat deep to get those shots.

The camera and Nery both being upside down is what I am seeing too. Fascinating though.

Very cool. Probably the most dangerous part was swimming in the pod of Sperm whales. Similar to maneuvering around a bunch of tractor trailers that can move in 360 degrees.
