I've had mine now for a couple of years now. At first I really resented having to spend that much, but now I really can't live without them. How many of you have invested in some sort of dehumidifier/drying device?

I don't wear them at work. The weekends are the only time I wear them all day. Looking to ensure as much longevity as possible.

I've had mine about 10-11 years. I do not have any kind of dehumidifier for them.
My house has AC and is less than 50% humidity. I haven't had any problems from moisture.

I use a jar dryer, no problems.

The charger/case for my Phonaks includes a replaceable desiccant pack for dehumidifying.

Our humidity is pretty low here, below 25% most of the time. I don't use any kind of dehumidification for mine. In fact, this is the first I've heard of dehumidifying hearing aids.

The price was painful for mine, but they have been game changing for me. Mostly when it comes to playing music, but also for conversation in noisy environments and watching tv.

Humidity is low here too. I used to have over the ear (now have flush with ear). Working conditions and sweat, it's nice to be able to dry them out. Not really needed for everyone.

I've never even thought about it. I just drop mine (Resound) in the charger.

I do the same. Just drop them in the charger.

Humidity or sweat is not a big problem as I don't wear them if I am working outside during the summer.

I have Widex which came with a charger that also had the dryer/dehumidifier built into n it. I absolutely love my hearing aids even though they cost a boatload of money. I have severe tinnitus as well as moderate to severe hearing loss in one ear and mild to moderate in the other . These help mask the tinnitus when it spikes . Get the cleaner . Take care of your investment even though they are waterproof to a certain point . Why worry ? Alfred E Neuman would agree with me.

I think Costco had a stand alone dryer available a while back.

I have Resound also. I just put them in the charger and I'm in Louisiana pretty humidity is pretty high here.

Sometimes my hearing aids ($7000 Starkys) itch and hurt so much I want to throw them against the wall. But most of the time they are OK and work great. Even forget they are there at times. Like 2-3 times I had them in place and started a shower. The first time I took them to the Audiology Doc. No problem from that.
The next time or two, I gently dried them and set them over the floor vent draft of the furnace/AC. Worked like a charm.
