A poster above mentioned some laws regarding prostitution as "controlling female sexuality", but I don't think that is correct. I suspect, in this country, most prostitutes are female and most buyers are male; if men weren't buying sex, women wouldn't be selling it. I think the prostitution laws are more about controlling male sexuality but most of the laws regarding prostitution I expect are written by men (and interestingly, most of those laws here go after the female seller, not the male buyer). Sounds like there might be some psychological 'conflict of interest' going on.

As for further legalizing it, I'm against that. I could see making prostitution legal increasing the amount of it (and the human degradation, disease and even death that comes with it), and then also propagating more of all the other still illegal things that come with it, like human trafficking, drug use/abuse and other crimes.

Seems to be right at $200/hr in my area, and often cheaper with some of them. No, I haven't participated as I'm staying true to my wife, but I did do some research when I started this thread.

Not too far from Midway Airport, $20-$50.
West Maddison Ave $10-20, but ya better check first. She may not really be a "She".
