God damn!! There is a dude who’s had it and not taking it anymore. That was a speech.

Wow! He absolutely smoked them!
That transcript isn’t entirely accurate, either. He clearly said “pussy” when they transcribed “ass” for the Judy Dench comment. “Fuck right off” with your award was another one.
Hey, Dennis Miller eventually came around. Sounds like Gervais sees through the bullshit now.

Well, most of the comedians are in an uproar against the "hate speech" crowd - because they tell jokes for a living.
Gervais released "Humanity" last year on Netflix and it's in the same vein as Dave Chappeles latest "Stick and Stones", ie people need to quit being pussies and deal with hearing words they don't like.

I’ve never watched more than a minute of an awards show but I accidentally left the channel on after the football game and caught his opening monologue. It was fucking great.

That was phenomenal. Some of the folks there understood they were being berated but there were just as many who didn’t have a clue! I think he’s someone who spoke to his accountant and confirmed his number for retirement is met!

I turned on the show because of this thread; lasted a New York minute because some woman got up there and essentially thanked “freedom of choice” for her award. Still, the Gervais monologue was great and thanks for posting it.

The Decaprio assault was wonderful as was the pervert comment about the producers/directors. That was simply wonderful.
