So I have a desktop, a Macbook pro and a Lenovo laptop all connected via wifi to a canon printer. Desktop(windows 10), Mac scans and print fine. When I try the Lenovo to print it shows printer off line. Power off and on the printer and the queue starts to print. Have checked settings, updates etc. I can ping the printer from the laptop. A little baffled on this one

Power saving /wake up not detecting your print request? Have you tried printing from the phone to see if it sees your printer online and available or not? You can possibly also check this using your router.

I had constant problems with wireless connectivity with a Brother Inkjet printer and then my current HP Laser printer. Got tired of troubleshooting and installing drivers almost every time I wanted to print something and just said the hell with it and now only print using a USB connection. I never have a problem that way.

Wire the Lenovo to the printer and start from there. Will it print wired?
Make sure the option to print to an off-line printer is not checked. Lost hundreds of hours giving remote (voice) support only to find the user did not know about this property/feature/PITA.
