College station has no tolerance for traffic violations or public intoxication. They do, however, appear to have a sense of humour and a good social media officer

At least it was University police and not CSPD. For the College Station police, driving with a student ID is considered probable cause.

The correct answer for the student should have been, "Sir, not being informed to the highest degree of accuracy, I hesitate to articulate for fear that I may deviate from the true course of rectitude. In short sir I am a very dumb fish and do not know, sir". Yes, you can say that when you're drunk.
