I might be mistaken in reading these posts - but I thought it was illegal to purchase a new AR or AK in CT. ( as well as building one) Same thing for magazines exceeding 10-rounds in capacity?

Any semi auto with minimum 12 inch barrel, pistol brace, and vertical forgrip is CT legal.

So any 12 inch or longer is ct legal. We are allowed to make our own.

Per Federal Law, a 'Vertical' foregrip is NOT permitted on a Pistol, as you would making an SBR, which would therefore be regulated per NFA...Just Sayin' Wink

I feel your pain, brother!
I live in Chicago, they won't ship anything but grip screws to me!

This is incorrect. A pistol can not have a vertical forgrip. A rifle cant have a pistol brace.

CT OTHER fits between the lines there for it is classified as any other weapon. Please dont scare people off from buying weapons legally in CT if your not familliar with what we are allowed to own.

My buddy just opened a gun store here in Ct and is certainly selling “others” with no difficulties.
