I sorry Marzy and SC.

We did meet Uncle Bill when V-Tail flew us up there for our first meet.

He was a fine 100% southern gentleman and wore it good and proper.

His influence was not wasted, not lost on either of you.

May you always have strong and fond memories of him.

He truly was a man that lived the American dream. Almost superhero unstoppable.

His "funeral" is going to be the celebration of success that it should be.

His children, our cousins, each have his characteristics and success on their own ways.

His oldest, is a GA Tech engineer working for Georgia Power. He designs power stations.

He has one of the only fully original 1943 Ford GPA vehicles and several other war time jeeps that are museum quality.

Our love of airplanes come from Uncle bill. I still remember back being barley able to walk and him setting me up into the seat of his Cessna 120 to play with the control wheel.

Aeronautics confers beauty and grandeur, combining art and science for those who devote themselves to it. . . . The aeronaut, free in space, sailing in the infinite, loses himself in the immense undulations of nature. He climbs, he rises, he soars, he reigns, he hurtles the proud vault of the azure sky. — Georges Besançon

Very sorry too SC. Uncles can be very cool. Those that make themselves available for kin can have an enormous impact on lives. Such as yours. May he RIP and continue to live on through the memories of the lives of those he impacted in a positive way.
