I am going to sell my Burley Nasoke recumbent but I’m having a difficult time figuring out what a fair price is. It’s in excellent condition but I just don’t know what the market is now. I haven’t found any for sale online but I haven’t scoured many bike forums yet. So if anyone has a clue I’d appreciate some direction. Thanks! _____________________ Be careful what you tolerate. This may help https://www.localbiketrader.com/burleyrecumbent.htm Seems $500 to $600 is the sweet spot.

Bicycle Blue Book is often widely inaccurate, and the less common your bike is, the more inaccurate their valuation is likely to be. Recumbents are a very small, niche market. Burley is a niche brand within a niche market. If you were to compare recumbents to guns, you might say they are like black powder rifles. Do you know what the recumbent market is like in your area? Do you ever see other recumbent riders? I think $500 is a good place to start, but also don't be surprised if you get you get much less than that. You can post on the usual platforms: Craigslist, OfferUp, FB Marketplace. If there's a bike shop that specializes in recumbents, I'd see if they have a bulletin board where you could post an ad. Joining and posting in bicycle forums will reach your target market, although much less likely people in your locality. Doesn't hurt to try though. I'd start with: http://www.recumbents.com/forums/ http://www.recumbentriders.org/forums/ http://www.bentrideronline.com...orumdisplay.php?f=10
