Bottom line: Do you think conservatives would start and own companies that would typically be considered SJW favorable? Not MSM, but things like Fbook, Twits, etc. Or even sub-groups in companies that encroach upon personal privacy - things like A-droid/Chrome/Cort/Alex.

Or would conservatives just tend to avoid those types of opportunities?

Most of these products seem to be run by the left. Why is that?

Well, that's the first time I've actually seen Facebook and/or Twitter described as SJW sites, but I suppose it won't be the last.

To answer your question, I wouldn't be surprised in the least, but I'm not super sure I'd expect it. From what I've seen conservatives typically enter proven business models. FB/Twitter were Some Weird College Kid's Idea twenty years ago. I can't imagine the tech world, even as lefty as it trends, is devoid of conservatives.

And remember that FB/Twitter weren't lefty/SJW when they started, they were just another communication media. Years of outspoken SJWs have driven them to respond by becoming SJW friendly, especially considering their user demographic. Are there plenty of older people on both? Of course. Those older people usually have better things to do than whine about injustice to their imaginary friends all day...and that's just the older people that bother to post.

How many FB-related threads on here rapidly populate with responses like "I made it XX years without Facebook, not starting now"?

Brave is a search engine made by conservative who was fired from Mozilla or firefox(i forgot which) for voting and donating against gay marriage in CA.

So yes it happens. The question is, can get it big enough. Facebook is HUGE. 2 Billion active users, it's not a fad and hasn't been.

What I find interesting is the Yin and Yang patterns of the internet. We lean to far left it goes back right, we got tired of all the people on facebook, people go to snapchat for 1 on 1 contact and to control the flow of info.

Depends upon ones priorities.

Are you a capitalist first, or a (insert Party) first? Are you a me first, or group first, person?

I'd bet the vast majority in a similar position would choose to be a Capitalist first, often with the idea that at least with more Capital they can affect and/or withstand change better than without it, and if someone is going to profit from these fools - it may as well be your side. Ultimately, an honest Cost Benefit Analysis would help guide the decision. Are these SJWs - however annoying and silly - really costing our side much? Wouldn't they just go elsewhere if your service didn't exist? Why turn away the opportunity over politics, unless you truly believe your involvement would cause more harm than would be worth.

Business and Politics rarely go well together.

I don't know that the owners are SJWs so much as they are people who identified SJWs as a market that they don't mind selling to.

Fair point. Although their behavior caters to SJWs so doesn't that suggest that either they have SJW tendencies or they compromise their integrity / values?
