I am VERY low on detail, apologies advance. My wife's family, during the 1920s and 30s, bought raw land at tax sales in Palm Beach County, Florida. Over the years going into the 1950s, inheritance laws changed-the result was the land being valued at highest and best use for inheritance tax purposes. The IRS hit the family with a huge tax bill that took literally decades to pay off. Is there a thread currently discussing taxation? No quarter .308/.223 | |||
