According to this article in the WSJ, the number of hate crimes committed against Jews rose 37% in 2017 to 938, while the number of anti-Islamic crimes fell 11% to 273.
But facts appear to have no meaning to the Left and near-Left, who care only for sound bytes and feel-good propaganda.
You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.
