PHPaulBobcat that was molesting my chickens
a couple of years ago. Spent a good deal of time in my daughter's freezer waiting on a slot at the taxidermist. I think he nailed it!

41Nice job.
A friend was calling turkeys and was stalked by one which ended up as a covering for his coffee table.

Bad enough that it was eating chickens (kinky!) but it's (was...) a female so it's a lesbian too!

They never do.

trapper189I knew Kubota people weren’t Bobcat fans, but that’s next level.

OttoSigThat’s really nice, I’m 6 months into my deer mount from opening day.

rangemasterQuality taxidermy is definitely worth the wait. I waited about two years on my Partridge I got up north of the Golden Road.

Sig2340A funnier mounting would have a dead chicken clutched in its jaws with an expression of “Chicken? What chicken?”
Still, that is artistry.

BassamaticA good taxidermist can be hard to find. I have a few deer mounts around the house but it's been a few years since I need a mount done. The eyes...it's always the eyes.
He did a good job on that one.

VoshterkoffSave any of the meat? I’ve heard that bobcat and mountain lion is pretty good.

apprenticeYou gonna hang that up over the chicken coop to give any other trouble makers a clue? I'm sure the chickens will get over it.

Daughter is going to hang it over her TV. She's the one that paid to have it stuffed.
She also has the last of my chickens, I got rid of all of them. Can't say I miss them.

Southern RebelThat is a most beautiful taxidermy job! Somehow, though, it comes up a little short of the story of Patrick Mcmanus' first attempt at mounting a deer head and ending up with the deer having a goofy grin on its face.
(Apologies for wandering off-topic, but us old men tend to do that. I sure do miss the humor from him - even though my wife always said it took a juvenile mind to appreciate his lower-level humor.
Unfortunately, old men also tend to be somewhat juvenile also.)
