Last September we brought home Bodhi, a pup from a local organization that facillitates rescues. The big lug has completely entrenched himself in my heart. After we lost our Lily in early 2020 I thought I'd never love another dog. I was wrong.

He's come a long way.

What a fine looking sweet dog. I believe shelter dogs deserve just as much love and a forever home as any of the high dollar supposidly pure bred dogs. Our shelter rescue came to us as a 9 week old puppy 14yrs ago. .................... drill sgt.

Thank you for adopting him. We lost our six year old Lilly (Beagle mix) and shorty after adopted “Buttercup” a REAL mixed breed. She’s three now and is a real sweetheart. We also have a thirteen year old field Beagle (also rescued). She’s old and grumpy like me, but we’re best friends - she follows me everywhere.

I love having dogs around the house.

I told someone not long ago that each dog I've adopted has not replaced a single aspect of his predecessor as each had been a unique gift. Each dog has simply expanded my heart beyond what I thought was possible.

Thank you for giving another rescue dog a wonderful forever home.

Every dog I've owned has been either a rescue or a stray that just showed up one day and announced it was my dog. I swear they seem to know it and appreciate it. My elderly pitbull died a year ago this week. In January I brought home a 14lb ball of vaguely Sheppard shaped fluff. It's now 75 lbs of muscle and teeth that thinks its a tiny lap dog. Been a long time since I had a puppy. I'd forgotten they were basically velociraptors as adolescents...

Dogs are the best.
