Anyone subscribed to mutualart.com?
I would like to find out for how much the following sold, https://www.mutualart.com/Arti...FC291/AuctionResults

I believe I found the original oil on canvas. And too cheap to pay the limited subscription of $39.00. The one depicted here is oil on board.

The subject of my inquiry is titled A Dreamer. And more pre-Raphaelite in scope. But same sassy Lady. Sassier on canvas. Stylized chin, no hair on the forehead. Frame in shades of copper, not golden.

I don't know anything about out, but I sure hope you have the original! That would be a trip!

Antiques Roadshow will be in Sarasota early next year. Bring it down there for verification.

Thank you, Gentlemen.

Thinking that because there's a record of auction sales that it might be worth an investment. Anybody know a public data bank of recent art auction sales where that auction is recorded?

It looks kosher to me. Found two(2) references to similar paintings. One, the referenced link and another of a lady inquiring on yahoo.com (yahooanswers?). Both oil on board. Signatures fine, but the one I reference is classically pre-Raphaelite and oil on canvas.

At first I thought it was a J.J. Henner and that the signature "Hannauer" was a play by him because he wasn't satisfied with it.

Thanks again.
