Federal 9mm 115 gr. FMJ RN (box of 100) Sale at Walmart Login/Join

I think this may have mentioned already but Walmart here in the Seattle metro area is selling Federal 9mm 115 gr. FMJ RN (box of 100) for $16.97, not including tax. A box of 200 rounds is $33.87 not including tax.

I’m looking for 147gr. But couldn’t pass up this Federal 115gr. RN. I went to a couple of different Walmarts and they had the same sale on this ammo at both stores. The guy limited me to 1000 rounds but I just went to another Walmart and bought more.

Every now and then Wally World surprises me. When doing the bottom line calculation you must add your sales tax. But, if you charge your purchase on a Wally World credit card, you need to subtract 1% as they credit your account for all instore purchases. Isn't that interesting? It's actually less costly to use their credit card than paying cash. In addition you get a 30 day float. Wally World gives you a 2% credit for gasoline purchases from their Murphy gas stations when using a Wally World card too.

Now to find somebody manning the sporting goods counter, or if anybody is, that there aren't four people ahead of you buying fishing licenses. Razz Deals like that are the only reason I put up with it. I'll be going by mine shortly.

When there is no one at the counter I just call the store on my cell and tell the operator I’m at sporting good counter and need help.

Hell, I just pick up the phone on the counter and page them there myself.

That's only $20 per case less than I pay for it online. Not going to go into a Walmart to save $20 bucks. When you factor in sales tax it's only $10 cheaper. Then factor in gas it's only $7 cheaper. My time and sanity are worth more than $7, I'll stick to mail order.

Is that for Federal American Eagle brand brass cased ammo? if so that is a good price. I bought 4 cases of 124 and 147 when Federal had the rebate on American Eagle last year for a net of $7.11 a box 50 shipped to my door.

The counter was staffed with nobody ahead of me, but there was only one box left. Also worth noting: the same brand in .380 is $15.47 for 50. If you want cheaper in this caliber you have to go steel case.

I stopped at Walmart this morning on the way to the range to pick up ammo and saw this deal. I didn't buy any, though -- I had remembered seeing your post yesterday though so I looked.

I have bought a bunch of this over the last month or so. And I burned thru a bunch of it too. It has worked great for me. I'm stocking up again when I'm able to find it in stock.
