Home made banana buttermilk pancakes, coffee, real maple syrup, vitamins, Sig P320 Subcompact with grip stippling and Pachmyr mag baseplate, and Surefire Tactician. The Henckels knife also doubles as a good backup in the extremely unlikely event that the P320 malfunctions. Smile

Banana pancakes are easily my favorite.

Your knife is turned the wrong way, edge towards the plate. Where are your manners? Roll Eyes

Are pancake thieves a problem in your area?

Probably. Looks like they already stole the bacon.

That sounds good. I might want to try it tomorrow morning (the pancakes, not the P320).

What do you do? Just mash a ripe banana into the mix? Any other change to "standard" buttermilk pancakes?

Unfortunately, pancakes aren't on our KETO diet. 20# in 4 months. We're stuck with ham and cheese omelets, thick cut bacon, fruit and Monster energy.

I too would be interested in your method. I will slice up a banana and throw some slices on the top before turning so that the slices caramelize slightly once it’s flipped. Always looking for good variations.

Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view.

That is almost what I do, except I put some more batter on top of the banana slices so that they cook inside the pancake.

If you feel the need to scratch that pancake itch: https://smile.amazon.com/Keto-...erving/dp/B07QZSFQ59

Keto compatible.
