I am currently using 2011 Office for Mac and considering getting the new 2019 Office for Mac. One of my drivers for wanting the newer software is that I will often get a notice that my current 2011 Office program is only 32 bit and not optimized for 64 bit use. So, my questions to the forum is who has upgraded to 2019 Office, are the results positive, who did you purchase it from and what did you pay? Thanks,

I Upgraded my wife's iMac a couple of month's ago. Went from Office 2011 to Office 2019. Got it really cheap via her company home use program. Downloaded file. Installed. And no problems so far. She has mainly used Excel and only for fairly simple workbooks/sheets. But no issues with the update so far. She has commented that she likes the upgrade, evidently it seems "closer" to what she uses on windows at work. This message has been edited. Last edited by: straightshooter01,
I have it through work, but damn they are some of the slowest software to start up. I was actually glad to find out that Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are finally free for everyone. Maybe not quite as functional as MS Office, but the load damn fast and do everything I need at home.
