The OP knows what part he needs. He's not looking for advice, he's looking to buy the part. Appliance Brad owns an appliance store, that of all things, SELLS PARTS! I'm sure he'd be glad to sell it to him if he has it.

The only other places I can think of to look for the part are used appliance stores, they usually have shelves of used take off parts.

You also should be able to Google "appliance parts "in my area" and you'll find numerous appliance parts houses that can source it, it may be an after market part, but that's fine. Most of those places sell wholesale as well as retail.

As said... he's looking used not new. But thanks.

Years ago I needed a part for my washing machine. Brad helped and I called him to order the part.
He was very appreciative, said it was nice to actually have someone order from him after he helped them out.
He mentioned that all the advice he gave out, most folks used to order from somewhere else for cheapest price... I imagine that would be very frustrating.

Should either, or both, choose to return to the fold, it would be good to see hand-slappings for anyone posting "Paging Appliance Brad." Something about that phrase always seemed in poor taste to me. The man isn't a fucking bellhop. Other members get the "white courtesy phone" treatment to check their emails, but somehow, someone thought it was cute to "page" this gentleman asking for free advice in an open forum like he couldn't, and shouldn't make money from his expertise and it stuck. If that’s the case, Hi Brad. Not sure that I ever joined in those threads but I read them all. When my buddy’s dryer failed I remembered and 30 minutes of his time and $24 in parts had him all good vs $75 bucks +parts/labor otherwise.

Keep an eye out at DavidSW as well. Sometimes he ends up with an oddball watch now and again. Heck, he has found some interesting things for me in the past. It may be worth calling him. He may know where to find one.

Just searching for the part number alone, it gets replaced by WG04F00201, which is now no longer available.

The WR9X521 has a 25" capillary

Here's a thermostat with a 26" capillary (WP819470).
Temp range for 17-36 degrees F
If you can figure out the mounting, you should be good.

These folks do a good job. It’s a good place to start. Some of the manufacturers have the break down for parts as well. Then shop price ....

You know, I get why he left, but I can't help but wonder if he could come back as just plain ol' Brad-the-swell-guy-from-Michigan?
