GeorgeairUnless that is an R2D2 decoy in the initial photo, can somebody explain to me how parking a crackhead urinal and needle station on top of a fire hydrant makes any sense? At all??
Well, other than the need to wash down the entire area/city each night.....

Russ59SF Gate had an earlier article about how much the City has set aside for temporary housing for the homeless. At one point, they were spending $80,000/yr PER homeless person.
Holy crap! That's an awesome salary in many parts of the country. Move the homeless out the SF and the City would save money!
I'm glad we moved our offices out of SF and into........Oakland.

Yeah the rest of the country doesn’t want SF homeless, unless SF is going to be stroking the checks for $80K per head.
Well, make that gold bullion, no checks or credit.
5 years, pre-paid, all in advance.
And its non-refundable. If they move back to SF, you don’t get your money back.

AnubismpI sometimes wonder if things will flip in these places. I know we have a lesser version of the insanity up here and we are headed to the same septic tank. Even the libs are beginning to complain now. Even if things do turn around I see myself moving when retirement strikes....which seems too far sometimes.

He is from NYC. Of course he doesn't think SF is a filthy shithole because it reminds him of home.

BBMWIt happened in NYC for twenty years. Out in the rest country, you might not have noticed (it went from insanely liberal to less liberal than some other places) It's now flipped back again. Things will have to go back in the shitter for the pendulum to swing back again.

HayesGreenerYou spend 40 years turning your city streets into a third world shithole, and then complain that it's a........shithole! Do you think they will get the connection?
