34 pounds in each front, 32 pounds in the right rear and 26 pounds in the left rear. 11K miles on the tires.
Took it to Discount Tire, and they were packed. Kind of standing room only. They apologized and said it would take an hour because they were so busy.
So the tech comes up to me at the 45 minute mark, said they found no trace whatsoever on the outside of the tire, so they took it off the rim and found a nail sticking through the tread. They fixed it and told me no charge.
They really know how to run a business.

shoevbThey are excellent at customer service. I bought my last set of tires from them for my truck. There is a lot of military in my area and I have heard a lot of good about how they treat service members.

6gunsGood to know. I'll be in the market for a set of tires soon. Costco has been my go to, but they aren't what they used to be.

ensigmaticExample of why we buy all our tires from Discount Tire.
I've got to go back, after my new tires and rims, today. At Day 2
all the TPMS sensors went off-line. Or the Jeep finally realized they'd been off-line since the new rims.
I know DT will make it right, whatever happened.
Btw: My appointment, Saturday? They promised one to one-and-a-quarter hours. They got it done in forty-five minutes.

DzozerAnother +1 for Discount Tire - they beat Costco here by $100. Also, much faster service. Costco takes hours- DT took minutes.

BMRI’ve purchased all our family’s tires from DTD over the past 10
years or so and have always been happy with the prices and service.

Update: Must have been the latter, because they found
none of the TPMS sensors had programming. Whomever installed it all missed a step. Shouldn't happen, but humans make mistakes.
Luckily, it was raining today, because I also found they'd installed the wrong rear wiper blade. That one was the manager-in-training's fault, it turned out. He'd entered the wrong product code in the order.
They took care of it all tout de suite and the Mighty Jeep was back on the road.

The guy who signed me in mentioned that exact thing and I told him I understand, but it's only one tire that's substantially lower than the rest. He said it was just informational.
He also said not to forget them when I needed new tires.

flashguyI've been using Discount Tire for more than 20 years -- they have tired all my vehicles. Once you are in their computer, you are good anywhere in the US. My dealer is only a mile of so from my house, but I had to have a tire replaced in Atlanta, GA on a tour and it was no problem.

EdmondThey are great. Only thing I wish is they did alignments too to make it a one stop shop.

They are always fairly efficient there at Discount. They also mean it when they say if you don't like the tires, they'll take them back. They are my go to for tires.
My only beef is that they confuse me with my oldest son, who shares my name. They sometimes bring up his car when I go in.

TomVMonday was our first cold morning. Highlander was fine leaving the garage, when it sat outside for a couple of hours, got in it and had a Light.
The easiest place for air is Costco, outside of the service bay and 2 pumps. I was 6th in line for air. Guess everyone else had the same issue.

JellyThese days i use Discount Tire and Costco for tires. Funny DT thread comes up. Just got 4 new shoes for the C7 Corvette Z06 from Discount Tire. They kind of annoyed me this time.
I had them order and paid for Michelin pilot sport all season 4 for the front and Continental extreme contact dws06 plus for the back. Had no less than 3 people there comment on my mismatched tires set. Like I did not know what I was doing. I had a few reasons to do it this way.
So new tires show up scheduled an appointment last Sat to have them installed. Ok so I get home after they put on the 4 new tires. Looking them over. They put on 2020 date code and previous generation discontinued pilot sport all season 3 on the front not the 4 that I ordered. Nothing said to me about the switch. Turns out there is $80 dollars difference per tire on the front. My experience at discount tire this time was frustration.

The Discount Tire shop near me identifies the customer with a phone number, and the first thing that the service counter dude does, is walk over to the vehicle and get the VIN.

Same here. In this case, they recorded that they'd never serviced this particular vehicle before and entered the VIN.

airbubbai've dealt with discount for years, had tire failures replaced with warranty, without any delays/refusals.
free pressure checks, rotations, flat repairs, + vets get 5% if ordered online, great service all around.
with all their services, it's never made sense to by from tirerack/etc, then pay someone, with no skin in the game for warranty issues, to only install tires.

egregoreI can't tell you much about Discount Tire because with few exceptions I buy tires through whoever I'm working for. I haven't got anything bad to say about TPMS. It has warned me several times about low tires. There is little difference in appearance, especially the rear tires of a FWD car, between 30 psi and 25 psi, the threshold for my car. More than once I found a single tire low and it turned out to have a nail in it. My car is nearing 14 years old and I have only had one sensor go bad, which cost me about $55.
