Right smack dab in the middle of the Christmas & Hanukkah holiday shopping season, in which many businesses make their profits for the year... it will be interesting to see which businesses decide to side with SJW virtue signaling over profits. [Note: Twitter Tweets and hyperlinks found at linked article website.] ===================== Black Lives Matter launches Christmas campaign against 'white-supremacist capitalism' By Madeleine Hubbard Updated: November 28, 2021 - 10:46pm "Twitter tirade follows attack on Thanksgiving as a holiday celebrated on "stolen lands" with "dry turkey." Black Lives Matter (BLM) is attacking two of America's most revered holidays, accusing Americans of "eating dry turkey and overcooked stuffing on stolen land" on Thanksgiving and promoting "white-supremacist capitalism" with Christmas. The official Twitter account of the self-described "collective of liberators" posted, "YOU ARE ON STOLEN LAND" (original emphasis), with the subheading "Colonization never ended, it just became normalized." BLM posted a series of Tweets on Thanksgiving about its ideology. For example, one tweet said, "This #Thanksgiving we send our deepest love to families whose loved ones were stolen by state-sanctioned violence and white-supremacy. May we offer a special prayer for those who will forever have an #EmptySeatAtTheTable." "Colonization never ended," another tweet from the social justice organization stated. "It just became normalized. This nation was built on the stolen land of Indigenous people and the stolen labor and lives of our African Ancestors." The tweet directed users to a website showing where native tribes once lived across the world. The day after Thanksgiving, BLM put up its virtual Christmas decoration, a Black Xmas profile picture. Elaborating on Black Xmas, BLM posted Saturday: "For 7 years #BlackLivesMatter has been drawing connections between white-supremacist-capitalism & police violence with our #BlackXmas campaign." The tweet included a link to an article in the Los Angeles Sentinel about Black Xmas by Dr. Melina Abdullah, a professor of pan-African studies at California State University, Los Angeles, and a "womanist scholar-activist." In her article, Abdullah began by lamenting the Rittenhouse verdict. She then explained her vision for the future. "Now is when we must renew our commitment to struggle — not simply against white-supremacist-capitalism, but towards imagining and building new visions for the world and for Black people," Abdullah wrote. For seven years, Black Lives Matter has encouraged people to "dream of a Black Xmas," according to Abdullah. This means "#BuildBlack (invest in Black-led, Black-serving organizations), #BuyBlack (spend exclusively with Black-owned businesses from Black Friday through New Year), and #BankBlack (move our money from white corporate banks to Black-owned ones). "#BlackXmas is about being self-determined and felling existing structures by building new, and more viable, beneficial ones ... in the names of our mightiest and most righteous warrior Ancestors, in the names of those stolen by police violence, in honor of our community, and as a commitment to the generations to come." Last week, Just the News reported that BLM activist Vaun Mayes of Wisconsin came under fire for saying that the Waukesha Christmas parade attack "sounds like the revolution has started."This message has been edited. Well, I don't have a problem with Black folks choosing to deal only with businesses and banks owned/operated by Black people. It's their money and their choices. As long as they do it peacefully, why should I care? They may find that their selections are limited, but that's not my concern. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

Capitalism is bad until you sell all the stuff you got in the smash and grab. Then it’s ok. _____________________ Be careful what you tolerate. You are teaching people how to treat you.

That female founder of BLM had no problems buying millions of dollars worth of this stolen land.

We had a customer get mad because there were no black Santa ornaments for sale in our display. We pointed them to the pic of the black guy that runs the show and said, “That’s the guy in charge. Give him a call.” They didn’t know WTF to say.

BLM's founders are Marxists (aka communists) and they show their true commie colors when they attack capitalism. It's also why so few of their "solutions" will improve black people's lives, but instead the supermajority of the "solutions" are stepping stones on the progressive path to communism. Can someone make this simple for me? Can someone give me a list of all of the black owned companies that support us, all the white owned companies that support this… I’ll make sure none of them get a damn cent of mine! At this point, I’m beyond sick of this bullshit! ______________________________________________________________________ "When its time to shoot, shoot. Excellent point. Not just in Minneapolis, but Ferguson as well. BLM seems to want to support black owned businesses.. and then burn them, damage them, loot from them, or vandalize them in riots. BLM claims to be against capitalism, but their founders have no problem accepting the capitalist profits their books and movie deals generate, and then promote Build Black, Buy Black, Bank Black policies... so, in truth, they aren't really opposed to capitalism...they are only opposed to white owned corporations and businesses, or whites making a profit... so, racism. Blacks comprise @ %17 of the total U.S. population, so even if every single black started a business I'm not sure there would be enough resources to produce every product or service they need or want. Where is the black who has invested and created a smart phone that rivals the Apple iPhone or Android, or black auto maker that produced a design that rivals the F-150, Accord, Camry, or Tesla? Blacks comprise one of the highest rates of abortions in the U.S. so, if BLM plans depend on increasing the total number of black owned businesses and black capitalism then they might need to take a look at that metric, and rethink their stated goal of destroying the nuclear family.

The embattled co-founder of Black Lives Matter announced on Thursday that she’s resigning as executive director amid criticism over her lavish lifestyle. Patrisse Cullors, 37 — who has been at the helm of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation for nearly six years — said she is leaving to focus on a book and TV deal. BLM leader says he quit after learning ‘ugly truth’ about group’s priorities https://youtu.be/wncYj2xfV6A Many are catching on to their BS..

They try this every so often. It fails. If the business provides a quality product, I have no problem supporting it. But based on race alone? Not likely.

I wonder how long it will take for BLM to start protesting MLK and demanding that his statues be removed, buildings be renamed and streets be renamed. After all MLI stands for everything that BLM and AntiFa represent.

That is a terrorist organization. If we had a legitimate Department of Justice, they’d be in prison already for many things. I’m sure there’s absolutely no tax evasion going on there… _____________

That was my first thought as I finished read the OP post...for all their emotional and offensive rhetoric, is anybody checking up on their financial situation? Back in 2020, there's was no shortage of large corporations lining up to 'donate' to them and utilize any and all of their talking-points and imagery. I can't think of a single time in history, when a single organization received such a deluge of monetary contributions in such a short amount of time...maybe Live Aid back in the 80's.
