USPS screwing stuff up is a deeper issue than Amazon.

Also, I've had great luck ordering things and almost always selecting my "Amazon Day" for delivery. Sometimes that's 3-7 days out, but stuff will show up and all in one or two boxes. Plus AMZN card credit is 1% more generally.

You can also pick when your Amazon day is for each address you use. So, for main house it's Wednesday to avoid early/late weekend travel, and a cabin where we send stuff occasionally it's Thursday so stuff doesn't sit around too long, but still gives a day of cushion before weekend.

I love how you can put in an address of say a vacation spot you're at and get your item the next day. Really comes in handy when on vacation when getting some forgotten random item is hard to find or to get to a store.

I've ordered beach kites and had them the next day and they have a million of them

My dad ordered items and selected my address in error, I contacted Amazon they resent the order to the correct address and told us we didn't have to return anything. He also did that on another order and they corrected it.

The only issue with them is I had to research and find the toll free number to CS as with all tech companies, it's hidden well, and the online chat can't handle this situation.

I did recently read an article about how Amazon WILL flag you and eventually cancel your account if you return too many items. The article writer tested it and found that they did cancel him after he hit some unknown benchmark after a certain period of time.

I'm sure it's pretty high and aimed at scammers.

I've always had good luck with Amazon and have been using them from the late 90s or early 2000s. Generally the items I order get here in a timely fashion, and returns and refunds are as easy as taking them to the UPS store five minutes away from me.

Not the case with me, I get everything within 2 days 99% of the time and zero customer service issues.

I had ordered some coffee that tasted like dirt and the seller said it was non returnable/non refundable but after explaining my situation to a customer service rep on chat, they issued me a credit right then and there.

Amen - Much of our orders are now same day with 1 or 2 days occasionally. I can take returns to a UPS outlet a few miles away without packaging. Outstanding.

I'm sorry if I hurt you feelings when I called you stupid - I thought you already knew - Unknown
