Seems it would make a good city based green alternative to fossil fuel based transportation such as a cab or subway, or your own car, going to the market for milk and bread.

I'm not sure it will be a substitute for pedal bikes only, but it still is a cool idea. We see them here, I'd be concerned with one that could not hit close to 30 MPH because vehicle drivers are not all observant or kind even though we have bike lanes.

It's got a dual purpose, personal transport alternative as in a city, hence City Bike, and as a weekend fun machine...
