Got nothing but my own perspective to offer.
Situation is changing, with all the inertia that involved after decades of corruption and social moral decay.
The changed the Government is trying to install have to work against a structural tide of disasters yet to come from years past which time was unavoidable and to come.

People must endure what is going on, understanding why is often not a priority and accept that it is the result of previous policies is way past their abilities.
The new guy is to be blamed for everything regardless of its origin.
Fact is the adjustments are paid by the less fortunate hoping that their breakpoint will not be reached before the ship turns around for better waters.
Prices are headed to a more reasonable world standards while income is still maybe 1/8. Not easy.

Don’t want to sound callous but 50-60% poverty index is rhe result of decades of building a Venezuelan style society where individuals unless filthy rich and above the rules of society are completely dependent of rhe will of a few corrupt people. That was our destination until some realised we couldn’t even make it that far with the way things were headed last year. Even the people in power relised that and made a lukewarm attempt to stay in power but not sure how to handle it anymore. They lost, new guy didn’t win exactly. We are in a heads or tails situation, knowing the other way was got to the no way point.

There’s at least 5 generations of people that have never worked in their lives thanks to government free money. They have rights but not ready to agree that they come with obligations. Not meek, not docile, not easy. Add the feminists, those who fight for the rights of unborn unicorns or think of themselves as displaced Narnians.

We had it coming, with this guy or the next. Good for the nore popular parties, Milei is a new born to the political system, that he’s the one to do the dirty work for them. A blessing noone will acknowledge.

This sounds like real improvement, though it's obviously gonna be a long slog to get back to where Argentina needs to be for the majority of Argentinians. Am I reading that correctly...I sincerely hope so! Based on where the Argentinian economy is, it sounds like there IS hope, and hopefully she can stick it out through the incremental improvements that are definitely needed, with an eye on the bigger prize that will be well earned once achieved.

Best of Luck that Argentina can stick to the right path back to prosperity, and resist the temptation to capitulate to the pressures for relief that will surely delay, if not change it's course for the worse!
