rburgThe headlines say 5,000 rockets fired
OK, I don't know the difference between a rocket and a missile Guess I should, but I don't.
And how much or little does one cost? I'm going to guess the 5000 weren't all the same size or cost or complexity. I went to a gun show today and even soft drinks were $5 each. Yeah, I was kind of shocked. Not a lot of people there. Could be the reason, or one of them.
No one seems to consider cost. So who's paying for all thse rockets? Or for moving them into position. Or are the folks firing them so wealthy they need not worry aobut it?

egregoreA missile has a guidance system and can be steered. A rocket has a fixed trajectory and can only go where it is pointed.

They are between $300-$800
Kinda crude but effective.
