Anyone had Angioplasty done
I work with docs that do this all the time. I'd not hope to need it, but if I did I'd be less worried about this procedure than my visit to the pregnant butcher lady dermatologist who attacked me with a melon baller to remove a spot on my chest 25% the size of a pencil eraser.

You'll be fine, just relax.

I have had 2 sessions. The room was cold. Ask the doctor for hot towels. The second Time was pleasant. First time I got cramped due to being cold. 200 lb orderly laid on my leg to keep me from bending the catheter. Good luck.

Thank you everyone for the insight. I have talked to some people at work that have had the procedure and everyone said it will be fine. As my dad used to say, getting old is no fun. Thanks again.

Just got back from my cardiologist office.
Looks as if I will be joining the cath, and stent club in 2 weeks myself.
Thanks to the comments on this thread I am a little less anxious about the procedure.
