Well done Suzuki. Good job!!! When I heard the underdogs from Hamamatsu Japan had won over a major sponsor after winning a championship my first thought was: awesome! I hope they don’t fuck up the amazing colors now that they have some extra financial backing. Hands down Suzuki has been running IMO the best looking bike on the grid. The most recent (and now iconic) Blue & Silver looks amazing but to roll out your original Grand Prix Championship winning race colors ON THE 100th anniversary of your company AND THEN to win it all at the premiere level. Wow. You cannot script something so amazing. As Suzuki’s project manager said about the 2020 season and their championship win, “it was either luck or destiny”. Thanks for keeping the bike great looking while picking up a sponsor. I’m no fan of Monster but I’m glad to see em partner with my boys in blue! Last years colors: And the OG along with the new king and 2020 MotoGP championship winner. I wish Davide had stayed on one more year. What I was worried might happen: The actual 2021 race colors: Kinda wish Mir had been brave and selected #1 for his number plate but that doesn’t fit his personality. This Is Modern Art !!! As a Suzuki fan (and Red Bull fan) I’m glad the Monster logo is so under stated! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

They do have a good looking bike. Besides Red Bull and Monster Energy, they will need to be sponsored by Crystal Meth Inc. and Cocaine Nose Job LLC. to keep up with Márquez. We will see. Last year was the worst year for HRC in decades. It was glorious to see all the different riders win last season but what I especially enjoyed was seeing factory Honda bikes nowhere near the front. I’m more worried about Yamaha than Honda. Honda has one person who can ride their bike effectively. Yamaha on the other hand has a bullpen full of talent. If Yamaha doesn’t have the engine issues of last season they will be in the hunt for the championship. Covid froze MotoGP engine development for 2021. This is good for Suzuki as their bike is already quite competitive. Honda wasn’t walking away from Suzuki on the long straights last season. It seems like Marquez might be the only one able to ride that machine to its fullest. Last season Suzuki somehow closed the top speed gap. The Suzuki is not built (at least not yet) to put down amazing qualifying times. It’s main advantages are corner speed and tire preservation. Suzuki has built a bike that only gets better as the race laps pile up. If they can get rid of their qualifying problems without messing up the bike they should have a decent season. Hopefully MotoGP doesn’t return to one rider winning most of the races again. Last season wasn’t boring unless you’re a Honda fan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

You're cold as ICE stickman428.
I'm just hoping for a full season with everyone healthy. I hope Marquez comes back at 100 percent but it looks doubtful. It is good for the sport to have multiple winners and close championships. I hope Team Suzuki does well. Diligentia, Vis, Celeritas "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." -- George Orwell

Beautiful indeed! I want to get back into following Moto GP more frequently but I can’t stomach paying $180 for season pass online. I don’t have cable either. Any other options to watch races? It doesn’t have to be live. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------"Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face" - Mike Tyson

crni4, The MotoGP subscription isn’t just getting you access to the MotoGP races. It also gives you access to the archives of historical races as well as countless documentaries and behind the scenes coverage of the riders and teams that is pretty damn entertaining. I’m with you. As into bikes as I am I resisted getting the subscription to MotoGP for a long time. That was a mistake. You also get access to the wildly entertaining moto2 & Moto3 class as well as spoiler free race access. Often (especially this past year and it looks like this year too) these guys are racing in Europe or somewhere overseas so many people don’t want to wake up at 6-8 am to watch the race. YouTube will often have the race up one or two days after it occurred but then you’ll have to deal with possible spoilers in the title of the video. Both beIn network and NBC tried to cover MotoGP and failed spectacularly in my opinion. The best way to follow the sport is to get the subscription or follow it on social media. Yes it’s not cheap but in my experience it is 100% worth it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

Glad the Suzuki kept the great look it had last year. The KTMs look great too. The Enemy's gate is down.

Wings? Yes, absolutely. Ducati got in trouble with MotoGP for putting aero on their damn swing arm! This is a sport where the smallest advantage can yield big benefits. The competition is so close the manufacturers like to get creative and find new ways to go faster. Especially Ducati, though it seems to be hurting them lately. Well, Ducati actually calls them winglets and they are even putting them on their street bikes now. A journalist recently (UK motorcycle journalist IIRC) wrote about how he could actually notice the difference in front end handling from the winglets once his Ducati got to 149 mph and above or some insane speed like that. At first I didn’t care for the wings but they have grown on me. The way Aprilia kinda hides the wings by almost forming a box to channel the air is pretty cool. And yeah this is a street legal bike too. It didn’t take long at all for the wings to go from MotoGP onto street bikes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

I might have spoken too soon about the Suzuki being the best looking bike on the grid. Yamaha’s test bike at Qatar is sporting throwback colors of their first Grand Prix motorcycle. They have not said whether they will run these colors in an actual race. I hope they do! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance
