Amazon doesn't allow it, Apple doesn't list it. Can't seem to find anywhere to stream it from.

Anyone know where I watch or buy it? I want to see the backstory to Leon, The Professional. From what I gather, he had to flee the country (France) and came to America and assumed the name Leon.

I have it on VHS.

I've never seen anything about them being the same person. Only that Luc Besson wanted to use the character type again to a greater degree. So obviously the inspiration for, but I've never seen anything implying it's the same character in both films.

See if your local Library has it. We 'rent' (for free!) movies at our local Library all the time. Our local Library is part of a regional consortium and will transfer it in from another Library if they don't have either available, or in their collection. We usually have a choice as to whether we can request it on Blu-Ray or DVD too!

Thanks again! I watched it last night with voice-over. Decent flick. Not as good as The Professional, but still a decent movie. It was funny watching them teacher her how to use a computer from 1990. I was always curious to see this movie, so now I can say I have.

I always thought The Professional was a spin-off, but like cas said, they're not the same character, but rather the same character type with the same actor.
