CEShooterBasement wet bar/kitchenette suggestions
I have a small "L" shaped space in my basement that I'd like to shoehorn a wet bar or kitchenette space into. The space is roughly 6' x 6' and for ease of plumbing in a bar style sink, I need the sink to go approximately in the middle of the 4' dimension. I'm thinking of putting a ~10 Cu. Ft. fridge in the space to give a little cold storage for the basement and that is pretty much the end of anything that I'm pretty sure I want.
I'm thinking a small micro-wave could be fit into the cabinets but what does everyone else have for good ideas or bad experiences for small areas like this? Part of the thought is that by building this area out we would then have a pretty decent apartment/mother-in-law suite in the basement but I feel like adding a small oven and range wouldn't get used much but then again I've never had a mini-bar in a basement so what do I know.

sig2392depends on your budget and how much you plan to entertain and what kind of entertainment.
4ft is a tight fit for anything but a sink if you center it.
I would put it off to the side. The smallest practical bar sink fits an 18" cabinet that leaves room for a 30" cabinet, that can hold a fridge or microwave. I would put the fridge below with the microwave on countertop.
