Water spots on ceiling gone after roof leak - like magic
Our 20 year old home developed a couple of roof leaks recently. Seasonal high rainfall spotted the drywall in 2 rooms. After we had the underlayment replaces and the tiles reset, my wife used a rag dipped in a 50/50 solution of bleach and warm water to scrub away the stain. The stains were totally eliminated.

Hopefully this tip will help someone.
Mike

That's a good tip Mike, thank you. Typically you would use a stain killing primer then paint the spot, but I'll try diluted bleach first if I have a water stain on white paint.

Maintenance guy for the property management firm we use in AZ sent me an e-mail with lots of photos documenting a roof leak. Convincing!
We’ll see what the inside “dry”wall looks like after leak is fixed.
