I made a vendor swap with a guy selling them at a gun show in PA. The vendor took peoples "clean" guns and pulled a lot of dirty patches out of them
I watched a youtube video but he didn't apply the paste properly.

You can almost always run a patch down a "clean" gun and get some more dirt out, so I wouldn't get too impressed by that.

Kind of reminds me of the snake oil salesman in a gun show years ago selling Frog Lube.

He handed a 1911 to Mrs. Flash, who is a very small person and told her to try to rack it. She could easily and he was going on about how Frog Lube is so slippery anyone can rack any gun.

I grabbed the 1911 from her, racked it a couple of times and told the crowd watching that it had a reduced power spring in it.

Just another con.
