FredwardHalloween Pics and Sit Rep
We gave up on Halloween. We live in an upscale neighborhood, and a couple of years ago the hood rats discovered us. It went from cute kids to van loads of folks from as far away as Louisville bringing in older teens, smoking dope and peeping into cars. Damn shame.

Didn't have any candy either.
Guessing if any kids stopped by, I could have given them a box of .308s?

I noticed this trend around here years ago, and it keeps getting worse.
I see cars full of people pull up,park, clear out of the car and then trick or treat down the street then drive off like locusts to hit a new spot.
These people do not live any where near my neighborhood. Many look like the landscapers that work for landscaping company's that work in our area.
In the last few years the street I live on has been blocked off to car traffic for several hours so the kids don't get run down while working the neighborhood. Many of my neighbors are CPD or CFD so I'm sure no permits are pulled to do this, I'm glad they do this now and wish they would expand the area they close down.
I would imagine MANY parents out with there kids are armed.I hope the invaders sense this and move to other areas to infest next year.

We also live in an upscale neighborhood. We didn't get the hood rats but we did get way too many kids even for our good-sized neighborhood. You could tell that most of them were not from here for the following reasons:
1. The endless line of cars/traffic jam due to the parents bringing them in and following down the streets.
2. The kids just weren't the type that live here. You could tell by their look and demeanor. Not that they were hoodlums - just definitely not from our neighborhood.
3. #2 was reinforced by several of the kids commenting on what a nice house we have. If they lived here, they would have the same or similar home.
They also walked all over my lawn and left several pieces of trash in and around my yard. I've decided that this year is the last. I don't mind doing something for the neighbor kids but I'm not here to give freebies to half the city. My wife walked with our granddaughter and said that quite a few homes were not participating. It's too bad that idiots have to ruin everything.
