Modestly decorated. Only half dozen trick or treaters so for @7:20. Hopefully more come soon because I shopped at Costco for candy. Big Grin

Only one group here so far but it is only 6:30pm. I am always armed, but this year I decided to up my carry and spare mags. What better time of year to do a home invasion then when a person opens the door for any stranger with a mask on?

We've had about 30 34 38 trick-or-treaters so far. I dressed (t-shirt, mask, and shield) as Captain America this year. The only other superhero I've seen come by is my little buddy, The Hulk (who may have been 5).

Edit: And 4 more, with Spiderman and someone in a black superhero-ish costume I couldn't ID.

We have had probably over 100.
Turned out the house lights and comforting the dogs now.
This usually goes on till about 10pm.

Been in this house 25 years. Never had a trick or treater. Neighborhood is not worth the effort. Houses are too far apart. There's a trailer park a couple miles up where the kids clean up and don't have to walk much.

Yes sir. I purchased the required 3 boxes of full sized candy bars( 90 bars ). For the 10 -15 tricksters that we get. My needs for chocolate will be well met for some time! Smile

I'm in a subdivision, but only had about 40 or so tonight. Just had 6 what looked to be High School kids come by. I still have a ton of candy left so I'm going to keep light on until 9:30.

About 40 total in the end. I left about 4-5lbs of candy out front. One highschool kid will get the lot or I'll just leave at work.

In the end it was a pretty slow night here and I have too much candy left. The last set of kids were so cute and I gave them a TON of candy. Normally I leave the rest out with a sign asking to please only take a handful and every single year a parent driving the kids around comes and steals it all in one swipe and it pisses me off so I did not do that this year.

I guess imageshack won’t let you post video. I was going to post a video of the last two kids as they were so cute.

Thank goodness I bought one 90 piece bag.
Had one little ninja turtle.

Seems to be a pattern. I laid in candy for the 35 or 40 kids that I had last year, plus a little extra, and I got 12. Lots of candy left over.

We had about 40 kids. We shut the outside lights off around 9:00.

We had one high school kid wearing just some face paint not counting the 4 high school girls that have been coming by for years. They go all out on costumes each year, this year they were all different movie princesses, so I give them a pass.

Best of show was the kid who dressed up as Dr Seuss's The Lorax.

We probably had 30-40 kids..most all accompanied by parents. The weather was kind to them all.

The last handful of years, we have gone over to the house that one of our employees lives at. The block that the house is on, really does the Halloween decorating/celebrating thing up.

Probably around 75-100 kids this year, a couple of years back it was about 150 or more. Everyone sits at the end of the driveways, some have fire-pits going, etc... Our Boston Terrier went as a spider.

The times are set between 6:00 - 8:00. Overall, a good time!

I pulled a hay wagon around with my side by side and my five grandkids, my three kids and their spouses, some friends and their 2 kids and the neighbors and their two kids. Quite the hay wagon load. I would drop the kids off at one end of the block and drive down to the other end and wait until they canvassed every house on that block.

Rinse and repeat for about 10 blocks. Would have done more but it started to rain. Lots of full Halloween bags and we all had a blast!
