I understand you can make your own routes into the app for later use.
Is it possible to upload others routes using .GPX files??
Looking to upload 4x4 overlanding routes as I am wanting true satellite GPS based positioning as many places the cellphone signal based GPS won’t work.
My iPad is WiFi only and if I can upload routes and use the watch for GPS I won’t need to buy a GPS add on dongle for my iPad and separate GPS app.

I have the Traverse alpha with movescount app on my Iphone and my computer. I took a look at the GPS format settings option on moves count on computer and didn't see that format available. I think you would have to convert them one way or the other to one of the acceptable formats. But I'm not 100% sure on it. I use my traverse for hunting and have been pleased with it's accuracy to and from my POI and Sat lock on under heavy brush and trees. Hray

Black92LXHave you linked to other apps through Suunto?
I see one can link to Strava and am pretty sure you can upload .GPX files to Strava.

hrayNo I haven't, I have had the watch maybe 6 months and have only used just the basic stuff under movescount. Try watchuseek they have a Suunto forum group. Hray
