I explain all manner of things to my clients without charging them. My job is to fix problems, so if they don’t understand the solution I haven’t done my job. Likewise, If OP paid a lawyer to draft this I suspect that lawyer would happily take 5-10 minutes to explain it.

My brother lives in MA and he had to pay support until his kid was 22 and graduated a 4-year college. Got a degree in exercise science/sports management and he pumps gas for living at a full service station. No intention of pursuing a career in fitness/PT/sports industry. MA is among one of the most painful States to live in if you come out on the wrong end of a divorce settlement.

Yup - IME … 1000% "Pacifism is a shifty doctrine under which a man accepts the benefits of the social group without being willing to pay - and claims a halo for his dishonesty." ~Robert A. Heinlein

The full text is below. A, B and G are the sections about adulthood. Hmm, based on what it says under the Emancipation heading, it says the first of any of the following. So I'd read that as A happens before b or g, but that would be emancipation. I definitely don't want this to upset my relationship with the kids. But that being said I hardly see them. It's all I can do to get them to meet for lunch once a month or so. Even then it's near their house so they don't spend a lot of time with me. 18-21 year olds have much better things to do than hang with dad I guess. 3. Emancipation. With respect to the child under the within Agreement, emancipation under the within provision and throughout this entire Agreement shall be deemed to have occurred upon the first of any of the following to occur: a. Attaining the age of 18 or graduation from high school without plans for post-high school education as a full-time student; if attending a vocational training school or college as a full-time student at age 23 or the completion of such college or school, whichever occurs first, provided that (i) a child's engagement in part-time employment while said child is pursuing his or her education as a full-time student shall not be deemed emancipation; and (ii) full-time employment by a child during school vacations shall not be deemed emancipation. Emancipation under this paragraph shall be deemed to terminate upon a child's subsequently entering vocational training school or college; thereafter, emancipation shall be determined in accordance with other applicable provisions of this paragraph; b. Between the ages of 18 and 21, having graduated from high school but domiciled with a parent and principally dependent on said parent for support, emancipation shall be deemed to have occurred at attaining age 21 provided said child has not begun attending a post-high school institution of higher learning as a full time student, in which case emancipation shall be deemed to occur pursuant to paragraph (a) above; c. Marriage of the child (even though such marriage may be void or voidable and despite its dissolution); d. Permanent residence away from the residence of either parent. Residence at a boarding school, summer vacation, camp or college is not to be deemed a residence away from either parent; e. Death of the child; f. Entry into the military service of the United States (provided that emancipation shall be deemed to terminate upon discharge from such service; thereafter, emancipation shall be determined in accordance with other applicable provisions of this section); or g. Engaging in full-time employment after the age of 18 and economically independent of financial support from either parent, except that full-time employment during vacation and summer periods shall not be deemed emancipation. Such emancipation shall be deemed to terminate upon cessation by the child for any reason from full-time employment. These go to eleven.
