I wore havaiian shirts to the office for casual Fridays.

One distinguishing attribute of the better quality shirts I wore is that the print on the pocket perfectly matched the shirt in terms of the pattern. I appreciated the attention to detail.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I have a Zero Foxtrot that’s pretty nice. A heavier cotton blend but it’s the red Magnum shirt with the Ferrari and Island Hopper helicopter as part of the print.

My Paradise Found one is much nicer and more money but without the car and helo.

Another vote for Retro Rifle.
I have the Paradise Found Magnum shirt. It wrinkles like crazy. I'm not fond of ironing.

Cooke street, from Costco, it's far and away the most authentic aloha shirt experience.

I search ebay for vintage Paradise Found designs and Reyn Spooner, Hilo Hattie, Tori Richard, RJC, Kolekole, Kahala, Shaheen, Ui-Maikai, Mamo Howell, Liberty House, Kamehameha, Ke Nui, and other vintage type stuff. The popular surf brands like Quicksilver can have nice stuff too. My taste is classic designs. No planes or cars, just flowers and birds for the most part.

Best is what you like.

Worked with a native Hawaiian who told me for formal/business occasions, the locals wear Aloha shirts made with the pattern inside out. I find I like those more than some of the more colorful patterns.

You can find sources/examples by searching for 'Aloha reverse shirts'. Link to one store's reverse shirts

One example of the style:
