Anyone had an unauthorized Netflix login?

Oz_ShadowAnyone had an unauthorized Netflix login?
First - I never trust an email like this and do not use the links in it but the embedded links did appear to be genuine.
It looks like someone in Malaysia logged into our account.
Any idea if Netflix had a data breach? Anyone been notified recently of a login from some other country?
We use a variety of passwords for different sites. Netflix was one of our lower security types but it should not have been easily guessed or forced. It’s used on iPads and gaming systems, only input by us two and not recently.

gearhoundsWe recently received an email to change our password due to an out of country (Haiti) sign in to our Netflix account. We of course assumed the email was the scam, but a direct call to Netflix confirmed it was the case. Also one in PA, and another in WV. Seems like it’s a little too common an occurrence.

LS1 GTOWhat was your password (you have already changed it, right? )?
All they did was use your email and guess your pw. Had it happen, once, then changed my password to something random (actually an obscure record album), no issues.

Jimbo54Yep, last year. A basement dweller in Belarus tapped my account. Easy fix and no problems since.

Change password to something very dissimilar, problem solved. If you've used that password anywhere else, in email, etc. then I would damn sure change it there as well. Yet another example of how taking the time to have a different password for every single login is helpful.
