I know college grads who don't know the difference. Spelling is also a mess. I am not a perfect speller but they did emphasize language and spelling when I went to school.

Hacked is less likely. More likely is that some McDonald's corporate employee forgot to sign out of the official Twitter account and into their personal Twitter account before posting that while at work.

I don't believe for a second that it was an accident, whether it was from a hacker or a McDonald's employee or not. The fact that it was under the McDonald's banner was intentional, though obviously not by corporate.
