I have a hole you can use if need be while looking for a toilet.

In case you missed it.

Rev. A. J. ForsythAnother vote for Toto. I've now replaced all toilets in two houses with Toto. (Except for the toilet from 1908 in my former basement that used about 6 gallons per flush. That thing would flush anything.)
I've had zero issues and have been very pleased with the "performance".

PrefontaineIS there a particular toto with the bidet installed people are happy with? I'm about to remodel and the pipes under the house are old so getting TP out of the mix would be great, or minimize it.

American Standard on the streets, a Kohler in the sheets.
I remember one of the older threads. My favorite comment was “I need a toilet that can flush a meatloaf!”

Here’s what the Toto Carlyle 2 with Toto S300 setup looks like in my bathrooms here.

flashguyI replaced my downstairs toilet (my bathroom) with an American Standard elongated taller unit (it was advertised as able to flush a dozen golf balls, but I didn't try it). It's been working fine for more than a dozen years.

BeancookerI had a Kohler Santa Rosa in my house in Washington. I loved it. Best toilet ever. Seriously, one piece, looks great, everything was perfect.
I was going to buy them to replace the ones at my house here. Then my wife sees the damned fancy ones. They are the Memoirs. It’s a pretty crapper. It really does look great.
But the downside to the Memoirs is the water level. It’s pretty high. Like high enough that when you’re doing a #2, you have to hold the man parts up so they don’t dangle in the water.
So I got the damned things on clearance and now I know why. I should have told my wife, sorry, no dice and bought what I knew was great. The Santa Rosa.

SportshooterWell, we decided to go with a Koehler Cimmaron. No Toto distribution here and HD has the model in stock that has the features we wanted. I sure hope that Aquapiston flush system works out; just noticed that there is some tank leveling required during installation. I take that to be a clue to having that sleeve drop perfectly straight down to seal. Oh well...
Thanks for all the replies. Got to get back to my rehab tottering.

That’s it but Amazon doesn’t have the 1.28 and S300e configuration in stock. This place does and may be better priced if the discount for signing up on first order applies. The S350e only adds auto open and nightlight so I passed because I don’t want the thing opening every time I walk by and I live alone and can leave seat where I like it.
Make sure you know your correct rough in. It comes with 12” with 10” & 14” available as options.

K0ZZZI was reading the other day about how the dual flush models "in general" are actually pretty bad. They're a rather complicated design, which means that they are much more likely to leak and use much more water than they'd save.

That’s what we replaced the 3 ancient 1950’s toilets in our home with and I’m very satisfied with them. I asked the plumber we use what would he recommend and that’s what he came back with so we had him change them all out.
